What is Voci?
Voci is a civic technology platform designed to strengthen constituent-representative communication. We empower citizens to engage meaningfully with their elected officials by helping them articulate their concerns, positions, and requests clearly and professionally.
Our platform uses AI to assist constituents in drafting letters, but every letter is reviewed, edited, and approved by the constituent before sending. The content reflects genuine constituent concerns and perspectives—Voci simply helps them express these views more effectively.

- Human verification required: All users must authenticate with Clerk (industry-standard identity verification)
- One letter per project: System prevents mass-generation of identical letters
- Location verification: Users must provide valid location data to ensure they contact their actual representatives
- Content moderation: Built-in filters prevent inappropriate or abusive language
Constituent accountability
- Personal responsibility: Each constituent is solely responsible for the content they send
- Edit capability: All AI-generated content can be fully edited by the user
- Direct sending: Constituents send letters through their own email (not automated bulk sending)
- Trackable: Users maintain records of all correspondence in their accounts
