Only if you tell it to. Voci writes the draft; you change what you want, and you decide whether it gets sent, printed, or read out loud. Nothing leaves your account on its own.

No. Put in your address and Voci works out who covers you, from your council up to Congress, then points each step at the right one. Federal and state officials are found automatically; local ones you add once, or let Voci search for. See Representatives & sending.

Then you are in the right place. A branch library, a bus route, one zoning vote — small local decisions are the ones a single well-aimed letter can still move, and they are what Voci is built around.

Yes. No card, no trial, nothing behind a plan. There are monthly allowances — ten projects and a shared AI budget — which exist so it can stay that way. Most people never reach either. See Account, limits & privacy.

Letters go out unbranded — no logo, no Voci styling — because branding is what makes constituent mail read as a campaign blast. Voci is open about what it is: there is a page written for offices explaining the platform, that a human wrote, edited and approved every letter, and how identical mass mail is prevented. The words are yours; the help getting them down is the tool.

Every draft, always. That is the intended workflow, not a fallback — the draft exists to get you past the blank page. Save draft keeps your version.

Yes. Invite them by email from People on this issue and they can draft, research, chat and tick steps off with you. Only the owner can invite, publish, or delete. See Inviting collaborators.

Yes — once, so it can match you to your representatives without asking every time. It is never shown on a public plan page and never included in anything you share.

You can write plans about anything, and research, chat and drafting work anywhere. The automatic representative lookup is built around US federal and state legislators, so elsewhere you will be adding contacts by hand.

No. It is a drafting and research assistant. For anything with real legal stakes, talk to a lawyer.

That happens when a request looks aimed at harming, harassing, exposing or deceiving someone rather than at moving a public decision — most often when the target is a private individual rather than an official or institution. Rephrase toward the decision you want changed and who decides it. Anger and sharp criticism of a public record are fine. Full rules: community guidelines.

Read the wording. “For this month” means the monthly AI allowance is spent and returns at the start of next month. “Try again later” is a short per-action cooldown, usually the same day. Both are listed in Per-action limits.

Usually the step has nobody to write to yet — add your address, or add the local contact the step needs, and try again. Otherwise it is a limit (see above) or a transient failure; Generate draft is safe to press again.

A run that did not finish leaves the panel waiting. Voci notices and offers Re-run — use that rather than reloading. Runs are capped at three a day, so check whether you have one left.

Try Update address with a fuller address — a street address resolves districts that a ZIP alone cannot. For city council, school board, mayor and similar, there is no automatic source: use Find local officials or Add a contact. Always check the source link before trusting a found contact detail.

Most often the office email on file is wrong or out of date — especially for a hand-added local contact. Check it on the official body's own website and update the contact. If an office has no public email at all, Voci says so; use Copy with their web contact form instead.

Invites are held against a specific email address and claimed on first sign-in with it. If they signed up with a different address, that is the cause — remove the pending invite and re-send it to the address they actually used. Also worth checking their spam folder.

The plan was probably made private again. Links survive that and start working again if it is re-published — ask whoever owns it.
